1.
Entering the room: When entering the
room we will be silent and polite. We will walk to our desk, make sure our bags
are hanging on the back of our chairs and silently sit down. We will wait
silently and politely for our teacher’s instruction.
2.
Getting supplies/Playing in desk: Our
desks will be organized inside and out. We will not fiddle with things inside
our desk and will remove supplies from our desk when the teacher asks. During
lessons and assignments we will only have out what our teacher has told us to
have on our desk.
3.
Restrooms: The restroom should be used before
school, during lunch, and recess. If you need to use the restroom during class
time you must raise your hand and ask the teacher. When you go to the restroom
you must sign out and take a pass.
4.
Class participation: When participating
in classroom discussions you must raise your hand and wait to be called on. You
must also make sure that what you are saying is appropriate and respectful for
the classroom. No shouting.
5.
Group work: When working in groups the
discussion must be about the assignment. Everyone in the group must participate
in the assignment and each person must be respectful to one another.
6.
Lining up: When lining up we do so
quietly and quickly. Anytime we are in a line we are right behind one another
and we are not speaking to anyone. If we cannot manage this we will practice
around the school building causing more homework for the night.
7.
Turning in assignments: Assignments will
be turned in on time. With the students full name and date on every assignment.
All homework assignments must be turned into the designated area at the
beginning of each day before class begins.
